The Lord, in His grace, took home our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on Sunday, July 13, 2003.  She died in the full confidence of eternal life with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Born in Andijk, Netherlands, Mom married our father, Peter Vriend, in 1933.  They were blessed with eight children and enjoyed 34 years of marriage before Dad passed into glory in 1967.  In 1975 she married Frans Hofland and after 18 years of marriage, the Lord called him home.
