both now and forevermore.
It was a great day! As Deb said at the reception, "This day was a glimpse of grace – of what things should be." The coming together of our different communities was so special to us and we were honored that so many people were able to come to witness our vows to each other. Friends and family came from all over North America (and the world!). Jon’s mom’s family fro California, college friends from the Midwest, Deb’s family from Ontario, Holly from Texas, Dan and Sarah from Japan, the Shorts from England.
It was a crazy day! Everything seemed stacked against us…we were getting married two days after Christmas, on a Wednesday, in the middle of a hard winter, on a day with a snowstorm (some of our guests came a little late, others had a terrible ride back)…nonetheless – it all worked out!
